While the CF looks nice on the outside, the only thing that would make the coupe marginally palatable for me would be the pano roof. I couldn't imagine spending that kind of money just to make things dark all the time in a small, two-seat cockpit.

Having met you, you don't seem like the type that would go to the dark side (pun intended) . . .

Maybe because it is so bright so much of the time in sunny South Carolina (we even have to wear sunglasses at night), I've never found a solid roof small two-seater's interior to be too dark. Perhaps the secret is to avoid the ever-present black interiors for something more lively? I am currently running another marque's solid roof two-seater coupe (that shall remain nameless) with a bright red interior, and its interior is never less than welcoming. I absolutely HATE black interiors - fortunately the F-Type has a variety of possible interior trims. Thus, CF roof here I come (I hope).

So true. Love my vert. Both the wife and son lobby constantly to get the coup as well.....that's the "darkness" I deal with! 😎 Then again there is bliss and goodness in having options in the garage each morning. Perhaps I should add this to RickJays "all I want" post.

Weighing all the pros and cons of the vert vs coupe, the pano made it possible for me to opt for the coupe.

I wonder why they don't offer a 911 style steel, or glass sunroof?

Great side-by-sides! I hadn't appreciated the continuity in the DNA before.

Default My new ride

Here's what I picked up today. The car, not the woman. I picked the woman up almost 40 years ago.
