Traffic slowed down. So did I. Car behind me, not so much. It was pretty hard, and a double hit. We both walked away, but I was a bit dazed, and the instant headache is hanging in there. I'm going back to my ice pack.

ooo damn. Well you should go to your primary doctor tomorrow to rule out any concussion. Glad to hear everyone walked away with no injuries. Sucks for the car though. I'm sorry and it looks like it was pretty hard because the damage looks pretty good. Once obtain police report contact their insurance company. I found out when I went through their insurance company my insurance stayed the same, but when I went through mine even though not my fault, my insurance went up.

Ouch!! So sorry for you. Looks like it might have penetrated the fuel tank.

Yes, it's washer fluid. First thing I checked when I saw the puddle. Just because I have a fire extinguisher, that doesn't mean I want to sit in a car leaking fuel.
There are only two body shops in the area certified by JLR for working on aluminum-bodied cars. I'll call the closer one once they open.

For me it was Florida sun and looks. The Crystalline windshield is supposed to reflect more heat away than dark tints, without actually darkening it.... 99.9% UV protection (SPF 1700+).... Side and rear windows IMO for the looks
Also harder to break the window, so security for break ins.

While my SA2005 helmet is still acceptable for HPDE, it is only OK for LeMons due to the grace period. They go ten years on the spec, but wait until the latest is readily available to the average schmoe.
It's unlikely I'll get out there before fall though. The body shop certified by JLR for aluminum cars says they'd need to take the car apart for a proper estimate, and even if repairable, they'd have the car for *months*.
