Congrats . . . What a beautiful place to propose. That spot looks very familiar, and I suspect we pulled off there on our many trips to Big Sur and south when we lived there.
Congrats!! Wish you a lifetime of happiness together!!!
Jeeeeeezus did you really take the Coast Road from Bixby Brridge to Andrew Molera through that old stagecoach trail? I've done that 100 times in my Wrangler, but it's not even graded yet after this wet winter?
Oh my gosh I am losing my mind thinking about that road. I hope that's literally just off the side of the pull outs.... I am having heart palpitations, but starting to realize that might just be at the crest around Ken Kesey's old place!!!
This is the road. 2 hour drive 7 miles or so. It's the most beautiful thing ever....
I was born down there, our company helped open Post Ranch Inn, and have spent plenty of time hidden at Sykes, at Esalen, etc. It's home, but it's heaven.
There isn't a place in the world better...... I got engaged there too. =)

No kidding!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love the coast...the spot is a secret (and safe to drive) location my fiance and I discovered high above the coastline so imma try to keep it that way :-) There are, as you know, many such spots along the long shore.
We actually did stay at the Post Ranch after the engagement. It's a really special place although I'm not sure I'll go back there now that they've raised rates yet again...$2K/night was pretty steep even for an ultra-luxe resort.
Big Sur must have been amazing during the time you grew up. It's now become so gentrified and the houses owned by wealthy vacationers (rather than residents) that it feels like a different place.
Gotta say this was a really useful part of the forum for helping me decide the colour - wheel - interior combo
So here is my contribution!
As a side note the dash camera should of been installed and wired so it was hidden but i ran out of time and this is going to be done at a later date. I'll make sure i post how it goes as i know at least someone could be interested.
For the aesthetics:
Polaris White
Suede headlining
Jet and ivory duo tone
Sport design black pack
Panoramic glass roof
20" Gyrodyne - diamond turned finish
@Adz3000: the black/white interior is the super clean, class look for this car with white exterior. Has anyone seen this combo with white brakes? (would need to have been done custom). This is great for night out to black tie event!
My new F-Type Joins its British brothers in my driveway
Very nice Vroooom! Fingers crossed and I may have the F-Type in time for the upcoming show. BTW ever park the Lotus at Griffin Park? I spotted an identical car there last summer.
