I really like the ADV1, but not spending $10,000 on a set of wheels. Then I came across the Lexanis which are nice, but the 3 piece versions are almost as expensive. Well not really, but still higher than would like. I'm just not about stock wheels, I don't know guess just always need custom. I thought the gloss black with red accents would look cool, but then I say the round trim ring in back and was like that's different. I don't know just so freaking confused.
Well a 2 year journey has come to end and yet it's just began. My wife asked for a Salsa Red V8S with Jet interior 2 years ago and unfortunately life got in the way of us buying one. And then came the challenge of us finding one after they discontinued Salsa red.
We were lucky enough to find what she was looking for on the west coast and after negotiations and logistics of getting it here it finally arrived today. We could not be happier with the driver who picked it up west coast last Monday and delivered it today, keeping me in the loop via phone and texts every step of the way.
Car pulled out of the carrier and we immediately went on a 2 hour drive through backroads of New Hampshire. What an amazing experience to say the least. I love this car, more so than my 65 Corvette (with side pipes which make an amazing rumble) and I'm so happy for my wife for never giving up her dream of one day owning one.
Thanks to all the forum members who answered all my questions and provided guidance along the way.
Just beautiful! Congratulations and am glad to hear you immediately took it for a long run. You'll be doing that a lot, whether you planned to or not. It's just irresistible.
I would agree, but I don't have that kind of skill to do that so I'm screwed.. Thanks for the idea and suggestion though.
Not sure where your located but if your near a college with an art or architecture school you could probably find a student to do some Photoshopping for you. Give them $50 and I would think you could go through a few hours of variation. Maybe a volunteer here on the forum?
Throwaway pics of my car in my work garage simply because it is post a 5.15a wash (great time of day to wash lol), because I got up early to love some sap off my car. As a daily driver w/o home garage (& upcoming 3 week road trip), not always easy to keep clean. So it moodily snoozes under fluorescent lighting.
