Default Oil catch can

Has anyone installed an oil catch can on an F Type R?

Yes, one or two on this forum have done so. It might be difficult, but you should be able to find a discussion or two with a search.

Yes, and quite honestly it is completely useless. It will not catch more than a few drops so I would spare yourself the cost and the time.

I installed a Bob's a while back and am coming up on my 15K update. Wouldn't call it useless, but Jag did do a very good job of building an oil separator into the PCV return line. This doesn't pull anywhere near the ammount of oil that it did on my Ford 5.8 SC.

A couple of years ago I installed a Mitsubishi oil catch can on my 2015 Ftype R. It had about an eighth of a cup ( actually a bit less) last couple of oil changes; while I am happy not to have this oil settling on my valves, it isn't really very much.

I suppose a properly baffled catch can of any kind will work, the Mitsubishi has at least performed as advertised and for the cost etc.. glad I did it, but it does not seem like an upgrade that will appeal to everyone.
