I've read too many horror stories of folks not keeping records of their BitCoin transactions accurately and now being presented with a bill from the IRS for tens of thousands of dollars which now BitCoin dropped, they don't have....the one entity you don't want to **** off is the IRS....

BTW, I don't find the F-Type any harder to get in and out of than the other cars I mentioned, even with the tops up. Of course, I'm pretty skinny at 5"10 '' and 160 pounds and I exercise quite a bit.

My last SLK55 was also a 2012. I traded the Z4 for my first F- Type and kept the SLK55 for another two months. At that point, I decided that the Jaguar was better in nearly every way, so I sold the MB.

Unfortunately my now 20.5 year old son inherited the power bug from his father. At 16 he learned on a Chrysler Crossfire SRT, at 18 he wanted a 911 Vert and at 18.5, after a few tickets and when I saw him driving in a way that I disliked he was switched to my XJL Supercharged. If he keeps up his grades and he shows better judgement, he is getting one of my F-Type for his grad in March 2019
The XJL is an amazing car, age is irrelevant, 510hp, classy and very safe

I also know people (my pop) who is endlessly curious, creative, engaged, hip, and will never retire. He'll just do less of what he doesn't want to. More of coming in late, having fun with his many hobbies, etc.
But your line was GREAT. I am so fortunate to do something that doesn't feel like work, and hasn't since 2004 when I stopped working property level at hotels. 14 hour days 6 days a week will grind you down, but now I can't even consider the difficult and challenging work I do a "job". It's just the best. I'm always waiting for the boot to drop. But retiring would likely be moving to Lanai or Maui or North Coast California, and running a small inn or something. Anything to relatively unplug and create simplicity. ANYHOOoo... your line was a fun ride, and so honest. A+

But I think Hasan Minaj (Or John Oliver) made a joke that "Crypto is beanie babies for tech bros" LOL

I still can't help but think Real Estate is wiser in my area. Invest in a tiny piece of land, build after the next recession (or wait for the next forest fire to move through eek)

and surged 188% in early turnout vs 2014: https://www.theatlantic.com/politics...m-2018/575092/
and it was the largest win margin in American history: https://www.axios.com/2018-midterm-e...7ef3f36f4.html
Mind you, this isn't partisan opinion... I'm not talking politics. I'm talking boring voting. It's just so amazing how low this country's turnout is. Always amazed me. Yes I know why, we don't need to dive into all that good stuff. Just want to defend the yungin's!

It frees you up to do what you enjoy. However, I know a bunch of "retired" people who don't know how to retire, and can't stop various forms of work.

I must say I think I am a lot like your Pop except for the curious, engaged, hip, coming in late and never retiring attributes.

My dad retired from the Air Force after 27 years. Then he taught at SJSU for about 20 more. Then he did taxes. I think retirement is finally taking this time. He built a Startduster Too. Home built airplanes will suck up a lot of time.
Me? I'd be real good at sipping drinks and relaxing in exotic locations.
