I've tracked a couple of my cars at Buttonwillow, including my XKR several times. It's been a while since I've been so busy, but I'd be very interested in going up there soon. The Hooked on Driving Events there, are a lot of fun as they change the track configuration to give you a mile long straightaway on the back that leads to some very high speed numbers. I'm in!

I'm sure I can round up a couple of other forum members and friends as well.
Besides my 5.0L XKR, I actually took the V-8S F-type that Jaguar lent me as one of the chosen Forum members when they first were shown at the L.A. Auto show several years ago. Below are some pics as well as some of my '72 De Tomaso Pantera, both at Buttonwillow.

Did jaguar lend the v8s to you in 2013?
I remember the first time I saw one in LA, it was in encino at my office parking garage. It was late 2013 and the car was a BRG...was made that the car didnt have a manual option back then.

Four of us forum members were the first to sign up for an offer through JaguarForums.com to take a new F-type for several days after the 2013 L.A. Auto Show. I got the V8S and they encouraged us to do anything we wanted with them including going to the track. Since I was going to Buttonwillow that weekend I drove the F-type up there from the valley and trailered my other car. Unfortunately, SoCal Audi Club who sponsored the weekend, does not allow convertibles to participate in events. But, I got permission during lunch when no one else was on the track, to take a couple of laps with the professional track photographer taking pictures. These were sent to Jaguar's publicity dept. supposedly to be used in promotions. Great fun!
Where in Encino do you work, I grew up there and am in Encino everyday, though I now live a few minutes away in Valley Glen. Do you ever attend Supercar Sunday in Woodland Hills? We should get together with a couple of other local members and start our own little Jag corner.

Sounds like a fun time!
That was at my old office on Ventura and Balboa, the equinox/pepperdine building. I live in North Hollywood, my new office is near Burbank airport.
I'm down with SCS, I might go this weekend, last sunday we did a run from the Gelsons market to Zuma, the leader was a guy in a white vert and another Eren with a black vert.
Night meets/drives are fun too, once we're all acquainted....![Icon Couch](https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_couch.gif)
