Orange County / LA area F Type Meet
#64
A route similar to that outlined below would offer numerous stretches of spirited driving -- even in well-populated Orange County -- while also traversing some of the regions more scenic roads...
Could start anywhere along this route...
- I started at Park Place Center in Irvine (the one time Fluor property),
- Traveling North along Jamboree Road (avoiding the Toll Road) to Santiago Canyon Rd.,
- To Cooks Corner, though Live Oak Canyon and O'Neill Park, to Antonio Pkwy.
- To Ortega Hwy, by Mission San Juan Capistrano, following Del Obispo into Dana Point Harbor,
- then North-West along Coast Hwy. through Laguna and Corona Del Mar,
- and back to Irvine via Turtle Rock... 2.5 hours without stops.
Minimal traffic if we wrapped up before noon, could even grab a quick early lunch in Dana Point Harbor, at which point those coming from the south may choose to break off and head home. Those from the north would follow up the coast, then trek toward the frwy. depending on time allowed.

FREAKIN LOVE THIS!!!!
done deal this will be our cruise route

Along the coast before noon on a Sunday morning would not be too bad. No matter what, the coastal leg of that route is more a cruise than a rally.
Imagine a dozen F-Types all crawling though an active Main Beach Laguna together, with exhaust notes on full "angry growler" mode.
