Sounds about right. My last date of change was 2/26/15 and mine just cleared customs today. Dealer info says they will get in on 4/24/15. (I'm still hoping it's a few days sooner... waiting is the hardest part!)

I would count on these mid April deliveries to actually arrive on time. Mine probably won't arrive until about the 17th, and who knows how many other F Types are waiting at the port to be shipped after it, since it was one of the first. They've only released a dozen AWDs so far. I think they may get bottlenecked, especially if whatever software/hardware update hasn't been done to them yet.

It's a long wait, but worth it. I smile every day knowing it's in the garage. Lots of YouTube videos and reviews. Too bad JLR took down most of the the "Art of Villany" videos from YouTube, it helped to pass the time before delivery. This one survives with Spanish sub-titles:
I managed to get to England during the waiting period, I took a day off from business and took the train to Birmingham for the Castle Bromwich Jaguar factory tour, it was fantastic to see the F-Type production line and the cars being built.

Much to read on-line; you can download the owners manual for the F-Type for a nominal fee:

By the time I picked mine up I didn't need the dealer product specialist to brief me. I got in, synced my iPhone via. BlueTooth, set the clock, programmed the navigation system home (then turned it off), set the power-lift rear to a lower height (having already measured my garage), adjusted the seat and drove it home.

Factory Oder
Does the factory usually deliver exactly the same specs as ordered?
I ordered the camel seats for the base F-type, but the Jag website no longer includes camel as an option.
The factory sent me an order that specified the color seats I ordered, but the absence of camel seats on the website has me worried.
Anyone, anyone?

I used the configurator ummm... Hundreds of times? It is updated regularly, sometimes the new loads have bugs. The 3-page spec sheet provided by the dealer with all the part numbers is what you will get. The configurator is only a guide, as an example, the dealer can select individual options (seat color) that are not shown or selectable on the configurator. They can also call the factory or SVO if you want something special.
That said, I used the configurator on mine, was a little annoyed that it insisted on loading me up with "packages" when I selected certain options (vision pack got me to leather sun-visors). My order came straight out of the configurator in October and that is EXACTLY what was delivered in February and I would not change a thing (leather sun visors are cool). We are very happy together now.
