Yep! I tend to be one who happens to really like the look with the bumper! I had a carbon fiber mold made to replace the shiny plastic bumper...

Kenneth, send a PM to Meister_Kajo. If he still has access to the printer, he'll set you up.

I think someone else on the forum is also making them, but I can't remember who.

Hi,

Thank you for your generous help.

I am wondering where to buy these P7 grill plus surround ? I have found a supplier in UK but it will cost me 430 English pounds to have them and that does not include delivery charges?

Do you know any suppliers that can order for much cheaper price?

Lastly, as for the sensor which should I order, the front sensor or back sensor ? Or their different and although it was recommended to fix the rear sensor to the P7 grill because it can hide the cables nicely ? Pls advise

regards

That price is about the going rate. But try these guys: Land Rover Parts and Jaguar Spares | Britcar UK Ltd You'll need both the grille and the surround. You can buy aftermarket for the same or less, but the OEM quality is far superior.

I originally thought the rear sensors would fit better, but the front sensors actually fit best into the 3D brackets, so you can just reuse the sensors already on the car.

How is everyone mounting their stock sensors flush with Meister_Kajo's adapters? Even after removing the rubber grommet altogether, I'm ending up with quite a recessed sensor (and subsequent false alarms)

I pushed my sensors a bit further into Kajo's mounts than you have, closer to flush. Then I set the mount and sensor a little further back in the honeycomb of the grill.

yes, push them further into the hole and before securing them (with some black silicone on the back side) test your parking sensors by putting it in reverse...also play with the up and down angle until the sensors read correct-ish. takes some time, but should work once completed. Also some have tried the parking sensor re-calibration procedure, i have not had to do this.

+1. My sensors are completely flush with the front of the Kajo mounts. Note: It is critical that the right honeycombs are used to ensure proper operation of the proximity sensing operation.

Default Availability of parking sensor adaptor for P7 grill

Hi Meister_kajo,

Do you still sell the adaptor for parking sensor for P7 Grill?

i understandings that your Friend 3D printer can do the job and you have successfully fitted the sensor to your P7 Grill .

Can I ask if you can make one set for me and how much will it cost me?

thank you for your attention.

regards

ken

The new adapters fit perfectly. They are already very firm by simply pressing them. For safety, I've ever taken a drop of glue.

Above is about 1mm still open, but it is too difficult to fill the honeycomb completely, since this does not have straight forms.

Behind the grill everything is black and so you will not see this small gap.

I have normal sensors, as well as angle sensors, since I do not know exactly which my Jaguar dealers want to use. The cables can be laid invisibly.

I have an appointment for assembly on Wednesday and will report immediately afterwards.

If you need an adapter, please pm to me. It can take a while, however, since the 3D man is on vacation.

I am wondering if the grill can be mounted without these sensors. Does a P7 have these sensors? Has anyone successfully mounted the grill without the sensors or is this too difficult to overcome? Is trying to work around the grill sensors like trying to undo the rear spoiler up at 70 down at 50 program that seems impossible to overcome?
