Hi All
Going to be re-shoeing the 2017 R-Coupe AWD very soon with Michelin PS4S. I've been running the P-Zeros and have a couple of questions:
These tires have 18500 miles on them, never run on a track. The F-Type is my daily driver. Southern California city/highway, with frequent mountain and uuhmmm, spirited twisty canyon road fun. The inside of each of the front tires has more significant wear. I've been very vigilant to keep tire pressures optimum, and have never noticed even the slightest symptoms of unbalanced wheels, even when highway cruising between 70-85 MPH. The rear tires have less wear but the wear is uniform. Is this an alignment issue or considered somewhat normal for this car and the miles driven? Thanks for any thoughts.
Also...will the installer be able to re-use the TPMS from the P-Zeros to the new PS4S?
I've attached a picture of one of the front tires. Both left and right are identical.

I don't understand how people get so few miles out of a set of tires. On my old X350, a set of cheap Falkens lasted me around 20-25k miles, followed by some Pzero Neros for at least another 20k, then some P7 Cinturatos that were coming up close to 50k miles when I finally sold the car. Now I've put about 15k on the Potenzas my X351 came with, and they've got plenty of life left. I'm replacing them soon only because I need more meat and traction in the back.
I don't baby the car and the roads in Los Angeles are terrible but regular alignments and balancing keep the tires running.
Maybe its because I spend so much time in stop-n-go traffic?

At 15K my original P-Zeros were done in the rear. The fronts had tread left but I went P4S all 'round. Another 15K and the rears were done again, but this time by a pretty significant road hazard. I figured they had 5K left. I'm either lollling in traffic or flogging it, but mostly the former.

Several people were amazed when I reached just under 17K miles on my Ghibli's original P Zero Neros and still had 5mm of tread across all four tires. I disliked the tires almost as much as the car and traded for the F. Had I kept the car I would have switched to Michelin in another six months or so.
