Default Paint Finally Corrected

I bought this 2016 MT new in 2017. It had been sitting on the dealers lot for a year and dealers being unable to properly wash a car, the black finish was really messy. But, the price was incredible so I bought it thinking I could have it corrected for about $1,000. Two all day clay bar detailings and a ceramic coat later it's finally the way it was intended. I was a little worried after the first detailing did not meet 100% of my expectations as it was worse than i thought, but all is right with the world now.... amazing how a black car reflects a blue sky.

I wanted to do a clay bar but the previous owner had Cquartz applied 2+ years ago and didn't want to do more harm then good. Can't get water spots out 100% with 'Cquartz approved' treatments so I guess I'll live with it.

For all I know the Cquartz is gone by now.
