Ok, I know I am probably asking for it, but here goes... I ordered a spoiler from Paramount and test fit it to the car today with some double sided tape.
The height is great and it doesn't obstruct rear view in least. It follows the lines of the car, but it's about 2" wider than the most narrow part of the rear end on both sides, but not nearly as wide as the rear haunches. From certain angles it flows nicely and looks fantastic, but from others it almost seems a little too wide.
In contrast, the SVR spoiler is as wide as the most narrow part of the rear end, but to me looks too narrow.
I Google searched several images of spoilers / wings (mostly stock) and with a few exceptions (Camaro ZL1 being one of them) they do not extend out width-wise beyond the most narrow point of the rear end, despite the cars overall width.
The I think the SVR spoiler is designed to continue the line of the rear haunches as if they extended vertically following their line of curvature. As such I don't think the SVR spoiler is too narrow. Your aftermarket spoiler does appear too wide to my eye as it disrupts the lines of the rear haunches. I don't particularly like the look of the spoiler on either f type as the car has a very flowing in line.
Nice, I like it. Can we see some more angles, especially straight on from the rear? Cost? Link?
I have a few more pics. I will put them up.
I purchased it from Paramount Performance in the U.K. Cost was around $2K USD shipped. It appears to be real carbon fiber overlayed on a molded plastic or fiberglass piece. It’s very lightweight with a high gloss on top. It’s a near perfect match to the Jaguar OEM carbon fiber bits that I already have on the car.
MI-FType,
How is the quality on that wing. It was horendous on their P7 grille.
Quality is actually very good. The carbon fiber weave is straight with no flaws and it matches the Jaguar OEM carbon fiber. Their service was very good and they even had custom, shorter feet made for me because I didn’t like how tall the spoiler sat in the pictures they sent me (it was more of a tall, P7 height).
Having read about the P7 grille piece from them I was a bit leery, but this turned out okay. I had tried ordering a front lip off of EBay from another purveyor a while back and it was garbage... crappy weave with bends and breaks and was laid over cheap, thick plastic. Would have cost me more to send it back so I threw it in the trash.
While I tend to agree with what jaguny says in post #2, and completely agree with what Stohlen says in post #3, based on the color of you car and of the spoiler...I think it looks great!
I was at a cars and coffee this morning and looked at the wing on a 911 GTS3 and the wing is well beyond the sides of the car. After looking at your additional photos I think it looks fine, just some getting used to.

Thanks for the input. That’s where I was at yesterday, but wanted another opinion or two.
At first it looked like it may be a little large, but then the more I looked at it, the more I liked it.
I know it’s in the eye of the beholder, but at the same time I don’t want people thinking it’s gaudy or overdone. When it comes to F-Types, no one is more critical than other owners, so I value your input.
It looks really nice. Does it affect rear visibility?
No effect on rear visibility at all. You just barely see the top edge of it at the bottom of the window when looking in the rear view mirror. Strong point because that's something I have never really liked about the pop up spoiler. It tends to obstruct the view and looks out of place from the rear when it's up. Not to mention the law enforcement factor.
I like it. That coming from a guy who once owned the attached with a giant factory wing!
The SVR spoiler looks a bit undersized to my eye. I understand the design direction of following body lines but it looks disproportionately narrow. MI-FType's set up looks great. I do like jaguny's suggestion of body color endcaps and supports, leaving just the horizontal piece carbon fiber.
Nice job and willingness to take a risk. Looking good!
I think this wing looks way better than the SVR. The SVR wing just looks too small and insignificant to be functional, so it looks like a design element rather than real aero (kind of like the flip up spoiler).
If I could mount the Paramount wing and still have a functional flip up spoiler, it could act like an F1 DRS system!
I test fit it with double stick tape, but in the finished application it bolts on to the spoiler lid after disabling the pop up feature. It’s in the shop now for installation. I will post a couple pics of the finished product when I get it back.
