Wink

Oddly,I received another academy brochure in the mail today...

Judging from your statements it sounds like you're both doing Level 1,correct?
I'll be real interested in hearing your comments,we have a great driving program right here at Laguna but the thought of driving the F-Type really interests me.

Has anybody actually been to a level 1 to give a report? I have a feeling it won't be much "seat" time, probably a lot of class room instruction and drills? But should be fun nonetheless. guessing level 2+ will be where they actually let you track the car more?

I'm guessing you're right T...I talked to both Roberto Guerrero and Davy Jones at Laguna during the Reunion and I don't think you really get much track time in your half-day Level 1 session.

Actually it's very little classroom time. Mostly hard driving with instructions over the radio or with in car instructor. You drive a lot of laps in every model.
You drive R models of XJ XF XK and F.
You drive road course, autocross track, and loop.
Absolute blast

I'm doing the one in February. No brainer for me since Jaguar gave R buyers compliment level 1 day. I've tracked Thunderhill and Laguna Seca, but have always been scared to do Sonoma because there are a lot of walls and not too much run-off away. So this is perfect, will be in someone else's car

I think it will be...I'll be doing either Tuesday or Thursday's Level 1 class if I decide to go...and I'm leaning that way.

I'll be @ Sonoma at the Tues session in the AM. I just checked and all the classes are full in Sonoma, if you haven't already registered.

You are correct...I spoke with a rep today and put my name on the waiting list, she told me they generally see some movement (cancellations) about 2-3 weeks prior so we'll see.

When is COTA? I may join that too. I've driven COTA but haven't mastered it.

I don't think they have COTA for 2015. Was hoping they would do either Las Vegas or COTA so I could make a mini vacation out of it, but I just saw Sonoma and Homestead.
