Next you're going to tell me that the disco ball hanging from my panoramic roof has gone out of style. NEVER!

Oz, one last thing sorry. I can recall in a post you mentioned that you painted the leaper with caliper paint. Did you scuff it up with a fine grit paper before painting? I am waiting for a black leaper to arrive but have since seen your post about the shape, so I might just take mine off and paint it myself this weekend, I've done pretty much everything else. I can always drop the Oz cricket team a note for sandpaper advice...

Bruce,
No sandpaper involved, I used to play cricket but I never stooped to that level!
I was a swing bowler (right arm outswing) but I never mastered the art of reverse swing.
I simply cleaned the leaper with meths then sprayed it (three coats), came out great.

Sweet! You didnt rub a bit of dencorub on one side? come on.... Played a bit myself socially, on my wedding day I spent the morning at the nets with my brothers targeting my nuts. Dont really follow the game anymore, I think I hero worshipped S Waugh and lost my interest when he retired.

Sorry for posting this in the wrong thread, I thought it was the "debadge" thread.

Bruce,
I played cricket for around 20 years, after playing baseball as a kid where I was a pitcher.
Long story short a coach came to my baseball club after he ruined my pitching arm a few years before, so I quit baseball to play cricket with my mates.
Funny thing is, my arm recovered and I used to scare the bejeezus out of wicket keepers from 70 metres away!

haha, I was blooded as a kid in the lillee/thompson days and went to school with McDermott (not that I can remember meeting him), but my bowling was more gentle offspinners and my batting more of the class of Bruce Reid than the Don...I think batsmen of my class are called ferrets, coz they come in after the bunnies.

Disagree. The matching sideskirt are amazing.
