I think up top the rwd will make it a better race with less powertrain drag...
Vic, you know what the difference between a Porsche & a Porcupine is don't you?

LOL . . . something about prickly things on the inside vs. out.

Sorry for the dead horse reply but Marcus asked so I answered as a good member with tangible opinions should.

Vic, Off topic but how is the c63 BS treating you?
I've been thinking about picking one up as my DD. Having 4 seats and a usable trunk can be quite handy.

OT but its been great- almost like a red headed step child that I cant or wont dump. Mine does not have the rear seats though but the driving experience is excellent- especially for Benz. The coilover suspension with the steering rack is really precise and the car looks great to this day even 2 1/2 years later. I love the sound of the normally aspirated 6.3 liter (rounded up) engine but I think the F Type R sounds arguably better. The wider front and rear flares with the aggressive hood in black make the car. The chassis has great response in turns and its very stable in the straights at triple digits. Its a fun N/A rwd car no doubt. I was thinking of dumping it in 2013 but the market softened up so I kept it and now Im finding the value to be stronger. I dont drive it all too much so the miles are down. Its a great car and one of the best of my 8 AMG's Ive owned.

Vic, so are you saying the GT3 sounds better than the Jaaaag? How do you compare the 458 Capristo also? I'd like your thoughts purely on exhaust notes please.

For me the Ferrari sound is more of a feminine shrill, a soprano or sometimes a wild banshee depending on the model. The F-Type is all Wild Animal sounding!

Not better but different.... the Jag is more of a roar (for lack of a better term) and the 991 GT3 is the LeMans type shreik. The 458 with the capristo and test pipes (no cats) is very similar to the pre turbo F1 cars. This sound is the best for me but its all subjective.

Stock vs Stock (my thoughts)

Jag has the best db levels (loud, dagger chucking)
GT3 has the best note (9k rpms LeMans Screams)
458 comes in third here but with the best opportunity to upgrade its sound via aftermarket exhaust. I agree with its soprano/f1 style song but it needs more of it in stock format.

How did you like the H&R Lowering springs?
I had Spacers with my car as well and had to take them off as they did make the rear wheels rub on the wheel well.

I have H&Rs and 15mm spacers. No rubbing even at the cornering limits.
