picking a dealer to buy my jag from

Hello, do you have any advice on choosing a jag dealer to buy from? I'll probably pay msrp (but not over of course). Sounds like dealers have limited availability so I don't want to them to simply get annoyed and tell me to take a hike (supply and demand).
Aside from that, is there anything I should look for? I'm sure some dealers will be willing to take my money as a down payment even if they don't have the ability to deliver the car in a reasonable amount of time (deceptive, etc). So is there anything in particular I should look for or be careful of? Also, what is an acceptable and customary amount to pay as a down payment when ordering the car?

Don't know where you live but Madison Jaguar (NJ) claims they have the largest allocation of F types in the country (I don't know if Jaguar NA HQ's location just a few miles away helps). Ordered my Type R in Feb, got a Feb build allocation, and should have delivery in April. $1000 down to place the order.
