Lovely car, you must be very happy with it.
I appreciate that this is a matter of personal taste but when I got my car (also with the sports body kit) I wondered how it would look if I had the sills wrapped in black, to show off the car's waist.
If you have had the same thoughts, wonder no more.

Oh, and remove the engine cover immediately. You will hear the supercharger whine better, and it let's the engine heat out more efficiently...
and Welcome!

Save yourself a bunch of money and add about 70 horses for about $2000 installed with a lower pulley and a tune. For the street, that be plenty.

I love this thing.
It's the best car I've ever owned. I wish I would have gotten a R though. After a lifetime of driving corvettes this thing feels like a turtle and I have a need for speed!
Also when I first looked I always thought the coupe looked better. Then I took the convertible out one warm summer night with the top down and was sold.
But a few months later I still like the body lines better on the coupe...
So Im on the lookout for a 2017 R coupe
Colors and interior TBD

I drove both and in Texas I decided the coupe would be kinder to my head in the summer months. I also wasn't keen on the missing visibility of the rear quarter window when the top was up. Wasn't too bothered about the (lack) of trunk space. Liked the coupe rear end better. Was lucky enough to find one with a pano roof which satisfied the desire to be able to add light to the cabin without going full top down. You can still get wonderful music from the exhaust even if the roof doesn't come off ;-)
Go for a ride in a coupe and make up your own mind.
I had a tuned 5.0V8 XFR so I agree the 3.0V6 takes a little getting used to, more stirring of the go pedal needed. Oh and a VelocityAP tune helps ;-) Especially when it disables that infernal ECO mode...

LOL. Plenty fast was in the honeymoon phase. When I get smoked by my buddies Vette and 911 I need to step it up a notch! Even my Brothers Charger SRT8 is beating me!

The V8's certainly don't lack firepower so you should be more than happy from that perspective.
