Hello, I am about to buy some alloy wheels. I rode adjustable K&W springs, almost as low as your K&R and would like to mount 265 and 305. What maximum displacement do you recommend? I have them calculated by the current separators (+17 &. +15 mm) but I see colleagues in these photos who should not track their car and confuse me because I would say that my car would touch the wheel arch with the wheels so out.

Sorry for my English!

This is what I ordered and will be running 265 and 305.
My car is not lowered but several are running this on lowered cars. YMMV
20x9.5 with 46mm offset
20x11 with 32mm offset

I ordered through PK Auto as many have and they have been a pleasure to work with.
Now if I can just get UPS to release them from the warehouse I can get them on the car.

According to my accounts, these measures are much more conservative than what we have seen in the thread, maybe you could get something more out of the rear axle? I don't want to touch it but I want to see it strong! : D

Checked tracking this morning, says the same “ held at warehouse, waiting on instructions “
Called again, this time they tell me they are waiting on the FDA for inspection???
Really..... the Food And Drug Administration needs to inspect my wheels ?
Weird ..... they already came into the country through Alaska and made it all the way to KY... WTF
WooHoo, tracking says “cleared customs” scheduled before end of day tomorrow

Ha! I was going to say that they're probably held by Customs and the pallets needed to be looked at because of USDA regulations.

Has anyone done a color match to their car? I saw an XK120 with color matched wires that looked stunning. My FType is “ British racing green” wonder how that would look with matching wheels? I’ve got yellow calipers so it might work, thoughts?

You could possibly get by with another 3mm less offset in the rear, but that won’t be noticeable. It’s better to be safe if you have a low suspension.

Jacksonville Jag has firesand with firesand and black wheels (firesand around the rim and black spokes). Looks good, it is on his profile pic.

Thanks Bruce, except them calipers are driving me nuts! The pics from the dealer are ok, but I think it looks better out in the sunlight.

Yeah red is never going to work with firesand no matter what colour your rims are, personally I'd go black. Looks really good though.

Default To lower or not to lower

Well finally got the new shoes on. Definitely on the blingy side but I like the look. Really didn’t want to lower the car but am having second thoughts 😳
