Alasdair - Are these the VORSTEINER V-FF 103?? If so, do you know the finish name (mystic black or carbon graphite?), offsets, and weight of the rims? Did you get 20"? https://pkautodesign.com/shop/wheels...iner-v-ff-103/

They look pretty sweet and might take the plunge for my black ftype but weight will be key.

Hi, they are the same as mine - 21" Carbon Graphite. Here is weight for the 10.5 https://www.audizine.com/forum/showt...5-Wheel-Weight

appreciate the reply...if they make a 20" (havent found them that matches Ftype specs), I'd assume maybe the weight would drop from 29.5# to maybe 26'ish#...but pure speculation. The fronts I am also thinking might be 23ish# in a 20"

Cheers, well there would be more rubber on the tyre if the wheel was a 20" and you are only really saving on spoke length and a tiny bit of wheel circumference so I'd absolutely pull out of my **** a guess that the total weight savings would be negligible. But they didnt do 20"s when I got mine

Love these Ferrada FR8 wheels, what are the back space and sizing details to get them to fit.

Probs the same as mine which were the same as someone else that got them and had a build thread on here (soz cant remember!)

Front: 21x9 +32 (265/30R21 Michelin Pilot Sport 4S)
Rear: 21x10.5 +25 (305/25R21 Michelin Pilot Sport 4S)

I dont think the car is lowered, mine isnt and it looks identical. Because the tyres fill out the guards so much more it looks lowered. The fellow who did it first had his lowered and it looked magic.

Greetings from Texas.
I am new here and have been lurking around absorbing all the great information I can.
I bought a MY16 R recently and it is my first Jag, came over from Vette’s and wow I really like this car.
After searching the forums for the best wheel setups I am afraid I now have paralysis through analysis !!!
Sooo
I thought I would reach out to the collective for advice.
Here are my thoughts:
I don’t believe I want to lower the car, they look awesome but I don’t want to go that route.
I want to stick with 20” wheels and really like several of the BC Forged
I was looking at 20x9.5 fronts and 20x11 rears in the HCA 384.
I will definitely be running the Michelin PS4S’s.
I want the wheels out as far as I can without rubbing, and this is where I am locking up mentally, the offsets !!
Getting the offset’s right so that I don’t have to run spacers after ordering custom wheels is causing the hesitation.
Lastly I believe I want to run 265’s in the front and 305’s in the rear but see many run 255/295.
Thanks in advance for any insight you can provide to get me moving on ordering my wheels.

Those are the same wheel and tire specs I am running. https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/f...5/#post1974518. The offsets I ordered were 49 front and 32 rear putting the tire wall out with the same effect as a 12mm spacer (to accommodate the 265/305 tires). Perfect offsets to avoid tire rub even with H&R springs, but the big brake calipers interfered with the wheel spokes on the from. This issue might be specific to the VS Forged wheel design I bought, but 3mm spacers in front resolved the issue easily. In retrospect, I would have ordered a 46mm offset for the front wheels.

Thanks Unhinged, somehow I knew you would be the one to answer first, your passion for these cars is outstanding.
I read somewhere on here that I should have the stud holes drilled to 16mm to allow for running spacers if I ran into the clearance problem like you did. I believe this will add $100 per wheel to the cost, so I am thinking I should just go with the 46mm offset. So far I am unable to verify the actual stud hole size from BC.
it also appears that if I want to run the stock center caps it will be an additional $100 per wheel, seems excessive to me since they are basically building a custom wheel already, might have to go with the growler stickers like several on here have done. What did you do regarding that?

I used the stickers on the VS Forged center caps. The stickers centered very nicely and are domed like the OEM caps.

Wow, that is a nice setup, details details details, makes all the difference.
i have reached out to PK Design today and hope to get this going now that you have eased my mind on what to order.
20x9.5 with 46mm offset
20x11 with 32mm offset
Still need to pick exactly which wheel design but the short list are the HCA series in 381 or 382 or 384.
Choices, choices, these are serious first word problems!
On a side note I wonder if this corona virus hysteria is going to delay things. Here in Houston people are going bat-###t crazy.
