I installed the CF console pieces in my car. The original pieces can be lifted and come off very easy with a trim tool... my only suggestion is that you mask off the edges of the gloss black bezel to avoid scratching it while lifting off the console plates. I did this and it worked out well.
The start button and power outlet get unplugged and twist out, then into the new CF piece. Push all the new pieces in and you are good to go. Fitment is perfect. The whole process takes about 10 minutes.
I will post a finished product picture a little later today.
I know unlikely, but I would like it if someone came up with some wood grain trim (bird's eye maple), particularly the gearshift surround. Would go well with a camel interior and would carry on some of the jag tradition.

I don't think that would be very popular in a car like this. That's the kind of thing that goes in a luxury based vehicle and not a sports car based vehicle. Personally I'm glad jaguar is going away from that tradition. Kinda old fashion in a modern world.

That's why I suspect it's unlikely to occur. But then again, green is very unpopular as is camel (discontinued). I seem to be an unpopular kind of guy.

Face it, the F-Type is an overweight luxury sportscar, and some of us were buying it for the fit and feel rather than the track times.

So is the 6 speed, but here we have it.
We have the CF trim, the black-out trim, and why not the country squire trim ( wood interior trim panels to go with the chrome power vents)?

Camel discontinued? Shame. I thought it was just an error in the online configurator (which also is lacking jet with camel stitch too).

Well, you'll just have to fix the deficiency yourself!
if you took pic with a flash it'd look the same as the promo pics
i prefer the silver trimmed buttons and shifter off the v6 vs matte black in v8 - i've already ordered the v6 shifter, might have to do toggle switch panel too
I love the light hex aluminum console trim that came on my base. It never shows dust or fingerprints, and just looks very tasteful. It's a bit ironic to me that the best looking trim came on the cheapest model, but, of course, that is a matter of personal taste.
Thanks Stealth... I got the trim for $850 back in November, but it's to my understanding that Jaguar has since raised the price to around the neighborhood of $1,100 depending on the source.
