Please help me decide between these two F types

1. V6 (not S) fully loaded $79000 MSRP. It has the one option I really want (Vision package) and I like the other options (wheels, heated seats, top color matches car).
2. V8 S, MSRP 93,000. No vision package. But it has the louder exhaust. Please note in my city I have absolutely no use for the extra engine power.
Both are leases. Including insurance and the additional down payment, the V8 S is $210 more per month for 36 months.
So for $210 more I lose the Vision package, but get the loud exhaust and S badge. Worth it? I'm leaning no but want to see if I'm missing anything.

yes. Unfortunately I know that I'll pretty much just be driving it to work and back and a little on the weekends, so no need to pretend like I'll be taking it to the Nürburgring or anything. I need practical options like the vision pack, the automatically folding side mirrors, cool looking wheels . . .

You have some of the best driving canyons right in your backyard. Don't think that LA is nothing but 20mph bumper to bumper traffic and that you can't take advantage of a powerful car. Come join us for a *spirited* group drive sometime. Eurotopian ![Smile](https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif)

Actually the 2014 F-Type leases are super cheap now. It's really the only reason I got one. It was only a few hundred more a month than a loaded Prius.

Don't know which end you're going to start, but it's several hours of driving "fun".
Wrightwood has a restaurant that serves Buffalo burgers (real Buffalo meat).
Don't know about cops, but oncoming traffic going slightly over the line keeps you alert.
Enjoy..

Well I just went up and down sunset blvd. through beverly hills this morning a few times. Scary. It's not that the car can't handle the curves. It's just that the curves pop up unexpectedly and if you take your eye off the road for one second you'll find yourself in one at 80mph.
Really dangerous stuff. Glad I got out of it without a speeding ticket.

You made the right choice IMO. I understand exactly what you mean about your driving "area". I too have the base, however with the active exhaust. It DOES make a difference. As I roll down the hills the cracking and popping are VERY loud and real. Yes, heads turn all the time
LOL

Totally agree, the base with active exhaust will definitely turn heads.
