I think you're OK as long as you didn't bungie jump onto the ship to check out your car.

LOL . . . JAS. Well done!

Since I live just a few miles from that bridge, and very familiar with the Bay, I hope you don't get parked in the freighter staging/parking area near Thomas Pt. Light, waiting for an available berth.

Default Obsession !!!!

She was a fever from which I will never recover.
All heat... and hunger.
She inflamed my senses.

Default What's that you ask... isn't there another bridge...?

Why yes... the Francis Scott Key on I-695.. and it has a south facing traffic cam, meaning that one should be able to capture the Fidelio moving left to right...

Diagnostic criteria for 300.3 Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder

B. At some point during the course of the disorder, the person has recognized that the obsessions or compulsions are excessive or unreasonable. Note: This does not apply to children.

C. The obsessions or compulsions cause marked distress, are time consuming (take more than 1 hour a day), or significantly interfere with the person's normal routine, occupational (or academic) functioning, or usual social activities or relationships.

I'm thinking I fall under the "children" exception, since I feel like a kid on Christmas Eve.

She's docked at Dundalk Marine Terminal, so now I can finally stop tracking the Fidelio.

The long wait times on these special orders make you feel like a prisoner counting down the days until release. You just got a glimpse of your car on the boat out your cell window. Hopefully you will go easy during the break-in period and won’t end up back in jail after you take delivery.

You can be reassured that you found the right place on this forum to be with a group of equally obsessive car nuts.

Enjoy and make sure to post photos!

That's not how you do time, jmfan. You do time like this:

There are only two days. The day you place your order and the day you turn the key.

This has to rank as one of the funniest - if, yes, obsessive* - threads I've ever read on any Forum!

*in a positive way

Well done! (And pre-congratulations).

Not so fast Jas3!

You'll want to know when they post the ever desired "delivered from" notice.

It's one thing to make to port, but you still have the "liner release", the "customs release", "discharged" and then finally the "delivered from". This means as I understand it, that your F-Type is now loaded on a car transport and headed to the dealer. That may be several days from the Fidelio making port.

Now, if your caught looking at the traffic cams on the freeway, then my friend, do get some help. Otherwise continue to enjoy!

My track as follows - Somewhere on I-5 right now

Status Status Location Date
(DD-MM-YYYY HH:MM:SS) Status Quantity

DELIVERED FROM PORT HUENEME, CA 03-11-2014 08:00:00 1
DISCHARGED PORT HUENEME, CA 31-10-2014 14:00:00 1
LINER RELEASE PORT HUENEME, CA 28-10-2014 10:50:50
CUSTOMS RELEASE PORT HUENEME, CA 28-10-2014 00:00:00
LOADED ON VESSEL SOUTHAMPTON 10-10-2014 11:02:00 1
RECEIVED AT TERMINAL SOUTHAMPTON 08-10-2014 09:31:00 1
BOOKED SOUTHAMPTON 08-10-2014 09:29:00 1

Default Dueling Booking #s...

At first W&W freaked me out by showing that my girl was going to PORT HUENEME, CA through the Panama Canal, only to be trucked back to me in the NE corridor. Ugh. I even got a booking # and bill of lading # on the W&W status page.

But then after boat #1 left port, my vehicle got a 2nd booking # and a new bill of lading #. Latest status update shows customs release 2 days ago in WOODCLIFF LAKE, NJ.

I will probably take delivery in 5 to 7 days... knock wood.

Title says 'Pot'.
Sat here looking at the images searching for a pothole. Then decided the pictures were about the ship. Went back to title. Still didn't get it.
Ah! Port!!
....
Second cup of coffee; here I come!

Not port watching.... POT WATCHING...

"Amongst many other callings, Franklin was a noted diplomat and during his time as American minister to Paris he was directed by the King of France to write a report on Franz Mesmer's controversial theory of 'animal magnetism'. In the report, published in 1785, Franklin included this text:
Finally another Breakfast is ordered. One Servant runs for fresh Water, another for Coals. The Bellows are plied with a will. I was very Hungry; it was so late; "a watched pot is slow to boil," as Poor Richard says."
Is it mere coincidence that this F-Type's final destination is Philadelphia?

I got it, and your comic timing is impeccable. Wait for it . . . wait for it . . . boom.

Thanks for the laughs today.
