Default Programing keys

Question on programing keys.
Bought new RFA wanting to add keys. The old RFA was bad I thought. KVM.
Went through the process of programing the new KVM/RFA. I had a key that worked when I placed it on the certain spot on the dash. It would recognize the key. After going through the process it told me to put the key near the shift console to verify. It would not detect the key. I am assuming that it now was the RF reciever that has issues. So the program of the KVM worked it took the vin and completed. But now I no longer hacve a key that works. When I place the orginal key in the system it says it is not the smart key. So now the car will not recognize the once working key. My question is where do I go from here, I have ordered a new RF module and it should be here next week. But during the sequence it wants me to turn on and off the ignition to do the sequence but without a key how is this going to be accomplished. I am using SDD.

Turning key on and off is done with the ignition/start button. You push the START button briefly once and the ignition is in the ON position.

If I push the start button then it tells me wrong smart key. So it doesnt ever achieve position 2. Maybe you dont understand the full situation, or maybe I dont.

I understand what your saying because I'm currently suffering the same problem but different issue my car doesnt recognize either of my key fobs. I push the start stop button it says key not found, i put the key in the docking position, push the start stop button it says reposition the key, push the start stop button for a 3rd time and it says keyless start backup. Smart key error. I need to run immobilisation procedure to restore the system but I can't run the program because I can't get my ignition into the aux position or ON
same as the problem ur haviug. its rather difficult and frustrating trying to run these programs when they require the ignition to be on but we cant achieve that because the bloody car doesnt recognize the key fob lol

how exactly does one achieve that if the car doesn't recognize the key fob?

It will acutally go to position 2 for the ingnition even without key present, just make sure that nothng is on the display them click the button one time, it will display no key present but this will also count as position 2. I have programed my keys and wanted to answer this for future if anyone has this problem.

The key to this is having a new KVM/RFA. You must have the correct keys. I tried with new keys but wrong keys and it didnt work. I used old keys that had been programed before and the kvm programed them and they work fine. THe other keys were generic.
