Default Project 7 anti roll bars

I read that the F Type Project 7 has upgraded anti roll bars compared with the R. Does anyone know how we can find out the part number? We probably just need a Project 7 VIN to order it.

I don't think it's out yet? and even then it might take a while for parts to show up in the parts catalogue that dealers use.

There are no Project 7 parts listed in the Jan 2015 parts catalog, yet it's got everything for the XE, which had not been released at the time...

Project 7 is shipping at the end of October 2015 if I recall correctly.

Got the chance to see a Project 7 up close at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Hopefully that front bumper and rear diffuser appear as dealer order parts. Makes the car look much more aggressive than the R.

Agree. The rear diffuser looks like a straight swap. I wonder if the front bumper is a straight swap, or if there is different ducting which will require a more expensive upgrade.

Here is a low-res photoshop of an R Coupe with a Project 7 bumper.

Question Difference in engine power ....

Hi guys, I believe the Project 7 vehicle has approx 50 BHP more than the R Type coupe. How do? Simple ECU remapping? It appears to be the same engine as the R Type coupe . can we jack up the horse power in our R coupe car's too ? I'd love to be able to bump it up to around 600 HP, utlizing same method as what Jag did to achieve this much power for the Project 7 car. Using aftermarket tuning software for me is a gamble not worth doing for warranty related matters. Your thoughts please ...

The Project 7 is rated at 575PS and 680Nm, the F-Type R is rated 550PS and 680Nm, I am told that the ECU calibration is the same between these two cars, same file in fact.

The difference is apparently in the exhaust. And I suspect a little marketing. The 550PS of the R is quite likely a little more than what's on paper.

If you want 600PS with a factory tune then we'll have to wait and see what the SVR has, when it finally breaks cover.

EDIT

There will be some further discussion in this thread https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/f...2/#post1342003 in the next month or so on this kind of topic.
