Nice, your friend is a very wealthy man. That's potentially about $3 million in Cobras alone if they are 60's originals w/ traceable CSX 2XXX (289) or 3XXX (427) VINs.

They are and he is; his Ford collection is relatively modest compared to his Mopar collection where he owns several one-off factory promo cars. The Dragonsnake is said to have an unprecedented level of restoration and the picture is of his actual car.

He sold this one a while back, I would have loved to own it but it was out of my range;

If they were ever produced, if there were ever any gains... if anyone came up with a header solution

This was all discussed if you read the VelocityAP header thread. No major gains, not worth it. Weren't produced.
