I have had my Eurotoys solid crank pulley on for nearly three years now and Lance has had his on for longer than that, and neither of us has had any problem with pulley balance or vibration. In fact we have both commented that the engine feels even smoother after installation of the pulley. I put it down to the larger pulley being substantially lighter than the OEM pulley (alu vs alloy).
The rubber insert in the OEM pulley probably is to make the pulley a harmonic balancer of sorts, and I have noticed that both mine and Lance's OEM pulleys have a bit of metal drilled out of the front face which can only be for balancing purposes, but I cannot see any such drill holes in any of the pics of black OEM pulleys.

Hi,

it is not so easy. My F Type R AWD is from 06.2016 but its a MY 2017! You can check the MY Version with your VIN number here: https://osh.jaguar.com/
Jaguar switch the MY in the middle of year. So, I think after 05.2016 or 06.2016 is the new MY 2017 and than you have the black one in my view.

I also want to know this. Pulleys from the tuners range from $1000 to 1000 pounds but I have only seen one online that has the rubber

following answer about original rubber from a tuner.......No, we do not offer the rubber damper inside the crank pulley. The rubber damper is only there to avoid driver concerns of NVH, it does not produce any additional wear on the engine. Generally, parts engineered to avoid NVH often have a tradeoff reducing performance and reliability. To increase performance and increase reliability of the part, We had decided to avoid manufacturing the rubber damper into our crank pulley version....

so, the beld is soft enough and also cushions a lot, think that's not a problem without a rubber insert in my view...

You say that so definitively, but you're wrong. My MY18 was built in March 2017, so hardly the middle of the year.

sorry, but...
in any case, according to Jaguar Germany, that would have been the case with my model! Funny that Jaguar doesn't change the model three years in advance, it would be funny.
Jaguar also builds a lightweight Aluminum F Type so that in the end you have almost 1900kg under your butt. It's just a Jaguar :-)
