Sounds great. Winter is going to be tough to endure but Spring arrival will be sweet.

Did say whether it would be a 2016 or 2017?

It will be a 2016. I'm taking advantage of an early lease turn in incentive which is only good for 2016s.

Don't want it then! Hoping to get it in the spring since I'll have to surrender my XF as part of the deal.

I understand completely. Dealers have told me 2 to 3 months, sometimes sooner, sometimes later.

Travesty! My 2016 custom order was unable to be processed according to my dealer. Jaguar is telling them that no more 2016s can be ordered. They actually had one allocation on hold (for their own stock) that Jaguar cancelled on them, if I am to take their word.

Now they're trying to sell me a 2017. Kinda sucks because I will miss out on the early lease return incentive (3 payments + $2500 off the new one) that is only good for 2016.

See if any other dealers have any allocations already in the works. You should be able to modify that allocation and claim it as yours. However, I was the first MY2016 allocation for my dealer, and he placed the original order in November 2014...

So that is actually what my order was supposed to be. A modification. They're telling me that all of their 2016 allocations in the pipeline have been yanked.

Were they able to get you a 2016? If they order you a 2017, do they have the options etc for them yet? I'm sure the changes are minor, but you would want them to configure your order.

If the sequence from previous years holds true, the dealers won't be able to configure the orders until the new model year is posted on the website. The 2016s are still showing.

That sucks for you Nati! Bummer. Keep looking at options. Hope you figure something out soon.

Current game plan is to wait until January when they will start taking orders on 2017 for spring delivery. My lease doesn't mature until June, so without the bait of the early return incentive (which is not good for 2017s), I will probably have to hold off on ordering for a while longer. Don't want to have two payments at once. Sucks. I was hoping to enjoy a long spring/summer season with this bad boy.

I think it's the opposite, the website is usually way behind dealers info.

Unfortunate timing, but you never know, things may work out.

Could be dealer specific. I knew the available configuration before my dealer got his order sheets for the 2016MY or had access to the production configurator.
