Thumbs up Put my 1969 Z/28 up for sale today...

Since I recently sold both a 1970 Z/28 and a 1970 Chevelle SS454, I knew it wouldn't be long before I put this one up for sale too...just lost interest and with the funny car and my '28 Roadster consuming all my energy, it's time.
If I don't sell it before next month, I might run it through the Mecum Monterey auction August 15th.

Besides...if I get what I want for this one, I can probably buy my incoming coupe cash,lol...but probably won't.

Thought you guys would like to see what a real 554hp musclecar looks like:

It will be...that's why I saved it for last. I had my '70 Z/28 33 years and that was tougher than I thought it would be...maybe this one will be easier.
Enderle, I'm guessing you're right,lol!

Hey thanks...these were all dream cars for me when I was I was growing up but I shifted gears and now,the funny car, my roadster and now this new Jaguar will be occupying all my time...and that's a good thing, really it is!

Here's a picture with the previous owner/builder driving it...the car literally just fell into my lap and I couldn't say no!
This car is currently getting a gloss black paint job to complete it the way the former owner would have intended it to be:

And the funny car which my dad originally constructed in 1967,it's the world's only flip-top Buick-powered funny car ever built.
This is from a Swedish magazine called Gasoline,it was also featured in Hot Rod magazine in 2010...every guys dream to be in Hot Rod!

Thanks man...I'd like to think I'm still a gearhead, just shifting gears as I get older and my tastes change.

I still have the last AA/GD front-engine dragster that my dad built as well, that car will be restored too as soon as I get done with the funny car:

Wow. What really stands out to me is the way you integrated advanced pieces into your Z/28 yet still kept it looking the way it came off the assembly line. OEM block color, front spoiler lip, interior trim/pedals, etc. That '07 resto sure shows.

GLWS. Can't even put into words what you're likely feeling. Those headers look like 2 1/2+. Some impressive overlap sounds through those bad boys I bet! (One of those things that I still miss about muscle cars when they pulled up alongside or into local hamburger digs.) Hey, perhaps you'll change your mind on this one.)

The headers are 1 7/8 Hooker Super Comps and yeah, for what I give up in low-speed torque they really come alive at higher rpms.
This motor really is a thumper,if I was doing the whole Trans-Am thing,I just couldn't have a low compression motor,it had to look and sound the part...and it does!

Thanks guys,I have had some serious interest in it since I put the ads up but if I don't get what I want,I may lean towards Mecum.
