PZ4 Tyres

Hello,
I would like to test Pirelli PZ4 tyres on my F-Type, but I noticed that while they have Jaguar mark for front 255 35 20, they don't provide Jaguar mark on rear size 295 30 20.
Only marks available are Mercedes and Alpine.
Anyone has tried them and can suggest which mark to choose and perhaps comment on their performance?

I don't know if any on this forum have used them. Michelin and Continental are typically the tire manufacturer of choice here. That being said, there is some information about them here:

My 2021 R-Dynamic came with oem P-Zeros marked AMS (Aston Martin) - not J (Jaguar).
Not clear to me what the relationship is between the J and AMS versions, though the F-Type and Vantage are both frpt engine an somewhat comparable in terms of HP and weight..
I do know that the AMS version is quite a bit more expensive than an unmarked P-Zero.
Of the 2 marks you referenced, I would think the Mercedes mark would be preferred.
The Alpine is a very lightweight vehicle (compared to the F-Tpe) and is mid engine. Though fast, it lacks the power of the F-Type.
You may be able to track down which Merc(s) use that tire to see if they relate better to the F-Type

The weight of the vehicle is an important criteria for street use. Owners of Lotus Elise and Morgans have found out how important this is.
For our cars, it MAY not be quite as important. A few % in weight may not make a large difference for street use.
Our F was fitted with AMS spec'd rear PZeros when we bought the car (panicked because the cords were showing) and I never felt any downside (except the 'normal' PZero characteristics when they got old and the temperatures dipped).
