Default Question regarding the front bumper gill vents

Hi guys,
do you front bumper lower hull vents serve an actual purpose or is it for cosmetic purposes only. Does air flow into the hull vents, and if so, where does the air flow go to.
Thank you.

There is... or was... a kit you could get to make the vents functional for track use. It cooled the brakes if i recall correctly.

Back to the OPs original question, those vents are purely cosmetic with zero air flow.
