I put new tires on the Jag and it made a huge difference in the handling of the car - I'm currently looking for new rims if you didn't see my other post.

I reallllllly like the Jag but I loved the R8... She's a hard act to follow. I think if I was coming from my previous BMW 335i I'd already be in love with the Jag but I'm still missing the R8 a lot. I'm sure it will pass with time. Thanks to everyone for all of the comments, answers and advice in helping me make my F-Type purchase.

Why did you let the R8 go?

3 reasons:
  1. 65k miles: She already had $16k worth of work done in the form of a new tranny and a/c compressor that was **thank baby Jesus** covered by the 3rd party warranty that came with the car. $100 deductible FTW!!
  2. V8: While the V8 is very quick, I regretted not getting the V10 after a few months. I would feel the same way if I had gotten the V6 Jag even though some reviewers say it is probably the best trim.
  3. Huracan/Gallardo/NSX/R8 V10: I'm looking to purchase one of these for my birthday in August.
