See below as a statement around group 4 vrs. 3 ... simply a fyi and not to start another debate over whats best for your engine etc. etc..

AMSOIL synthetic oils are formulated with a patented synthetic (synthesized or synthetically combined) base stock oil technology. These oils are made from Group IV type oils, also known as (PAO) polyalphaolefins, which produce advantages far beyond Group III oils. A few of the inherent qualities of this base stock oil include:
In addition to a superior base stock technology, AMSOIL includes a chemically advanced additive package specific to equipment application. The finished product exceeds industry standards and ranks highest in overall performance and protection. Making these oils since 1972, AMSOIL is recognized as the leader in the industry by continually setting higher engineering benchmarks. The company’s position is never to formulate its lubricants down to a cheaper price, but rather to engineer products to be the best in the industry.

Due to the list you've mentioned, i personally believe this is why AMSOIL is the only oil company that markets it's synthetic oil as being 100% synthetic. They can do it from a legal standpoint, where as the other synthetic oil brands can't use the 100% phrase so they use the term, full synthetic.

Hi guys,
doing some reading, i learned that TRUE synthetic oil has to read, 100% synthetic oil, not " full synthetic oil ".
Full synthetic oil is grade 3 and 100% synthetic oil is grade 4.
Back in the nineties, the law changed and permitted the oil brand companies to use the term synthetic for grade 3 oil, which is actual refined petroleum dinosaur oil. Grade 4 synthetic oil is created in a lab. So what the hell is in our cars, used by Jaguar. Is it true 100% synthetic oil or just a super refined Dyno oil.
Thanks

Maybe you can say if one of these motor oils fake <!--td {border: 1px solid #ccc;}br {mso-data-placement:same-cell;}-->https://themybuy.com/best-synthetic-motor-oils/ or real synthetic. I am interested in how to choose the best one.
