Hello, I am planning my installation of a BlackVue 2-channel (front and rear) dash cam system. The front-facing camera and wiring are very straightforward, however the wire routing for the rear-facing camera is a different story! I've searched YouTube vids and the forums and have found plenty of materials regarding the forward-facing camera, however nothing for the rear camera except for some very unprofessional looking installs with exposed wiring. I did find one set of photos of a professional looking installation however there was no information on the "how" with respect to the wiring. Greatly appreciate any examples and insight from those of you who have successfully tackled this problem for the rearward facing camera.
Do be careful wrangling the headliner. The clip that holds it up in the middle of the rear always breaks and the metal clips that hold it around the panoramic roof opening seem to have Kung Fu grip. https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/f...agging-262619/
