Default Rear Diffuser Paint-Matched

One of the changes I like in the '16 model is the rear diffuser dropping that crappy, cheap plastic look.

I had Tag Motorsports pull, prep and paint mine Stratus Grey. Looks so much better now!!!

I agree. The plastic was really not a good look, especially for such a large panel.
The lines on the rear of the coupe are awesome but they also draw your eyes down to the diffuser so that makes it even worse.

I had mine wrapped in gloss black because I preferred the contrast with the stratus to reduce visual mass of the rear, but matching paint is also a great way to go!

Strange. When I visited the factory last Summer there were cars on the line that had body coloured panels there, along with the spats on the bottom of the wings.

Could it have been the "design package" for the V6 models? I know for the V6 models the design package includes some body colored panels and rear valance/diffuser.

No, V8R models too - the bit between the pipes was body coloured. The rest was still black plastic.
