Default Rear Hatch Alignment

My coupe hatch is slightly closer to one side resulting in an obvious difference in the gap sizes on each side. I'd like to slightly shift the hatch sideways and thought the easiest thing to do would be to loosen the hinge bolts where they go into the hatch... anyone have any advice on how to do this easily??? Might just have to take the trip to the dealer???? Thanks...

Wouldn't a good bodyshop be able to do it? Probably not at main dealer labour rates, too.

I might just be the spoiler rather than the whole hatch which is misaligned.
That is the optional "sports" spoiler and not the standard one so it may have been fitted by the dealer or a previous owner (but more likely it was fitted at the factory).
It should be easy enough to adjust the side to side fit, I have done that on mine albeit the standard spoiler but I think the sports spoiler is the same:
1. Raise the hatch
2. Find the two "oval" shaped covers (with cross-hatching and rubber grommet surrounds) on the underside of the hatch lid.
3. Remove those two covers - a bit of prying and levering with a plastic trim removal tool.
4. Underneath you will find 2 x T30 Torx bolts each side, these are the spoiler lid mounting bolts.
5. Loosen those bolts a bit (not too far and don't remove them!) until you can move/slide/wobble the spoiler lid a bit.
6. Adjust the lid as necessary, lower the hatch to test the new fit, rinse and repeat until you have it as good as you can get, then torque the bolts up again (tight but not stupid tight), refit the covers (might need a gentle whack or two), lower the hatch, done!

Will try that this weekend... Funny how you don't notice things and then when you do they stand out... I'm going to check the latch position too, just in case it is putting sideways pressure on the hatch... Not sure if dealer or factory put it on, it came this way.

Just wanted to close this out. Ended up having to loosen the hinge bolts. Used a 14mm open/closed end wrench and very carefully made the bolts just barely loose. Had to be careful not to scratch or damage the glass top which the bolt heads are over when the hatch is open. Tapped it a bit on one side and it slid over and is now perfect. Tried moving the spoiler, but someone had already moved it as far as it would go to the side. Moved spoiler back in the middle and now hatch lines are even and spoiler is even. Thanks for the advice....
