Default Rear Spring Isolators Sleeves?

Hi guys,

My dealer has called and advised they've tracked down the slight rear clunking sound. Apparently it needs 2x "Spring Isolator Sleeves" fitted. Not sure if they're just missing or perished... Car is one of the first 2013 V6S.

Did this fix your issue? (assuming you've experienced it)

Does anyone have the part number for these? Is it T2R15835 ?

I'm considering fitting lowering springs in the near future, so seems little point in going ahead with this repair and removing the springs twice... Also I assume they'll be required with Eibachs or the likes? Or are the coils a different thickness?

Cheers

Yes, that was one of the first TSBs. Happily, my car never developed that.

Any spring configuration will require those isolators to avoid suspension noise.

I have early '14 (# 1100) and remember the clunk issue in the forum but never had it on my low mileage car.

I have a 2014 v6s and had the replaced around 12,000 miles... I say replace but it was required... the original ones deteriorated / pieces broke apart.. show them on the garage floor. They have been fine since replacement.
