Default Rear toe link

Both my rear toe link ball joint boots are torn, Should I replace the whole thing or are the boots replaceable?

I found oe part online for $180 a piece, $150 for aftermarket.

Just replace the links. You’ll need an alignment afterwards.

Replace the whole thing will always be the easiest but also the costliest, I will be doing lowering spring and rotors alone with it so trying to save a few bucks if these boots can be replaced individually.

Haven't inspected closely but the joint itself should be good, only occasional thump noise driving over bumps, 2 horizontal slits on the boot.

If you can find boots for the toe links, please share! Looking to do the same as well. My toe links are in great condition, no play - just torn boots.

Not sure if i will find a solution, quick search online yielded some results from xk and xj community, lengthy read and may or may not apply to the f type.

fcpeuro also returned some result for Jaguar ball joint but none was for the f type and nothing looked remotely close. Some of them are from the same manufacture as the toe link i found on advanced auto part though, lemforder.

Attached is the part I’m referring to, pic was found online as i didn’t take pic of mine.

Most likely i will buy the whole unit and call it a day, it’s not horribly expensive, but if any one has experience to share that’d definitely be nice! I don’t think we are the only ones with this issue.

Emailed zf North America service (lemfoerder), they directed me to fcpeuro, emailed them, nope, they don’t carry the part and can’t source the joint separately.

Looks like i will replace the whole thing, unless i really want the ~$200 saving😂

also found that the oe replacement part number c2d51044 fits quite a few more models like xf, s type, xkr, xk and xj of certain years.

Edit: scrape that, search is over
