Default Rear Window Inside Gasket

I have a question. While searching for a rattle on the right side of my2016 F-Type S, I found a window gasket that had a small tube coming out of it - the tube had came out of it's clip and was vibrating against the inside of the rear quarter panel - noise fixed. The tube came right out of the rear inside window seal gasket and I could not find a place to plug it into in the bottom of that space. I'm guessing this is some type of water drainage tube, what type of water I'm clueless, I could not find a hole to plug that tube into. Can anyone tell me what I have found and does the tube just hang their or does it plug somewhere into the bottom of the small compartment on the right side under the rear window? Thanks Wayne

Coupe or convertible? It might make a difference to the answers.

The rear side window drains can rattle against the plastic part as shown by the red arrow. One of my sides was clipped into a holder right at the very bottom and will be held taught and away from the contact point as shown in the photo. My other drain was just hanging loose which then lies in the path of the green dots and can rattle. It is hard to put the loose end back into the clip as it is right down the bottom and you are doing it blind and by feel only and you don’t want to create a kink.

I found that part with my hand. I also could find a plastic bracket on the wall of the car. But where does the end of that drain tube plug into? That bracket I found or is in the very bottom part of that pan?

The tube doesn’t attach to anything. The bracket holds the end of the tube above a drainage hole in the panel section. Technically you can leave it flopping about and it will still drain through the same hole

Thanks so much. I was worried it was pouring water into the car and it would rust and get moldy.
