Default Rebuilding a wrecked F-Type

Like the post says, to call the history of this Kitty dodgy is a massive understatement — and this is certainly an scary project to take on. But Nick seems to think it's not going to be that tricky. Regardless, it's pretty interesting viewing!

I sure hope his mechanical/rebuilding skills are better than his knowledge of colours!

And I sure hope his skills are better than his base knowledge of the F-Type which is obviously close to zero!

I knew a guy who did this type of work (repairing wrecked auctioned cars). He rarely knew much about the cars, but that didn't have anything to do with the quality of his work. His point was that any (decent) mechanic could follow the manufacturer collision repair specs. I almost had him find an NSX to use for as a track car.

That being said, this is the type of car he would recommend for an auction purchase. He said repairing a car with only one facet damaged is much better from a cost perspective.

I'll give the benefit of doubt here and reserve my final judgement for the finished/built product. But to be honest, that first video does not inspire much confidence in me as to the abilities and competency of this re-builder with this particular car.
