Recommendations for a backup camera

I purchased my car CPO and the original owner didn't get the vision pack. Since I have been driving small cars with poor visability for years I've learned to be cautious while changing lanes, so I don't miss most of the lane stuff in vision pack but I do wish I had a backup camera.
So my question is, do any of you guys have any recommendations for aftermarket backup camera installations?

Hi Frank here my16 s coupe. I too wanted a backup camera and chose a type s solar powered wireless one. It has a monitor that uses a port like a cigar lighter to power it. I rest the monitor on the center info center and use the lighter for power. You initially charge the solar battery for 4 hours and than it should charge by the sun after two hours. The monitor has several buttons to suite your requirements. I just installed it last week and it works as described. Plenty of YouTube vids on this type s backup up cameras, I personally did not want to drill holes and splice into wires. Stupid simple to install.

I looked at only wireless solar powered cameras. I wanted no drilling of holes or splicing wires into back up light. This suited my purposes as I’m not sure how often I’ll use it. I can put the monitor away and take it out when required. Quick and simple. I also wanted a integrated license plate frame and camera that looked ok. I hope this helps.

Hi everyone, I installed this camera last week and have not had a chance to “test drive this camera”. I live in the Hudson valley and we had 12” of snow. I’m thinking 60 seconds should be within reach but if not then I guess I can reboot monitor(plug out plus in)for more time. The company tech guy says solar battery should last 10 days without sun light. I’m going to see if true. There is a charging port bottom of frame, not sure how easy to use as I have not tried, looks like I’ll be on my knees to connect.
