1. Let the paint dry for 24 hours at least so it completely hardens.
2. Position the clips and wire them in place with stiff strong wire on both sides.
3. With gloves on, fit each side of spring in place. The wire will prevent the entire clip from shooting out.
4. With a screw driver, lever the middle part of the clip in place. You are done.

im doing a customers Ftype v6 right now at home. I do not use spray ons as they don't last long on the ones I have done. I use POR15 caliper paint brush on with foam brushes. buy a pack. I use a lot of brake clean to scrub and then blow dry, clean clean clean. the brush ons level out nicely and other than time consuming over spray you wont have to be redoing them. The ones Ive done have gone years. Haven't used G2 but if it is epoxy I'm sure it last long too. The brush on takes 2 coats and maybe a partial coat to touch up areas after assembly.
