Nice job. You will admire them every day. Don’t drive for 24 hours. Let the paint harden completely. Otherwise, you could get brake dust embedded in the soft paint permanently.

i've seen the red calipers on other cars as well. Seems to be catching on which I don't like. I have the reds myself. I think another color is in order from Jag. The yellows are a change. Maybe like a dark blue is in order? Guess it depends on your exterior body color

Notice that you don’t have the anti-rattle clips painted. That’s the way I did mine. Too much color otherwise.

the BRG and yellow calipers would be great for a green bay packers fan

Reviving bit of an old thread I know, but to those with the base brakes, how did you get the anti-rattle clip back on without scratching up your new paint job? It's driving me insane!

1. Let the paint dry for 24 hours at least so it completely hardens.
2. Position the clips and wire them in place with stiff strong wire on both sides.
3. With gloves on, fit each side of spring in place. The wire will prevent the entire clip from shooting out.
4. With a screw driver, lever the middle part of the clip in place. You are done.

im doing a customers Ftype v6 right now at home. I do not use spray ons as they don't last long on the ones I have done. I use POR15 caliper paint brush on with foam brushes. buy a pack. I use a lot of brake clean to scrub and then blow dry, clean clean clean. the brush ons level out nicely and other than time consuming over spray you wont have to be redoing them. The ones Ive done have gone years. Haven't used G2 but if it is epoxy I'm sure it last long too. The brush on takes 2 coats and maybe a partial coat to touch up areas after assembly.
