Default Remote Apps

Hi, I am in the UK and my new F Type R arrives in a month so I am very new to this car.
I've been reading up on the remote apps and it mentions that I need to insert a micro SIM. I guess this allows the car to connect to the internet and allows the remote apps to work?
So I'm just looking for a bit of advice around what owners usually do here. I presume I just order another SIM from BT and pop that in but I have no idea how much data the car will generally use.
Any experience that you can share with me here would be gratefully received.
Regards,
Mark

Your dealer will get that all set up for you when you take delivery.
