Default Removing V8 Rear Diffuser

Has anyone here removed the V8 model’s Rear Diffuser? I removed the 6 T30 screws that attach it to the gloss black part of the bumper - but with the screws removed it’s still held on tightly. Am I missing something? I wanted to remove the body color Valence to wrap it with gloss black Vinyl.

Can't say that I have but this page (bottom diagram) shows there are plenty of things attached to it. Maybe it'll shed some light on something that's been overlooked?

I think all of the diffusers are the same in terms of mounting, but in addition to the screws, there are also a lot of clips that need to be popped at the top of the diffuser where the diffuser meets the bumper. Stick your hand back there and try to pop them out manually.

Thanks! It was the tabs at the top that were giving me a hard time. I found that pulling the sides out allowed me to maneuver the diffuser a bit more and then could get the top ones out. Thanks for the help!

Does anyone have the Topic instructions for removing the rear valance and diffuser from a V8R or SVR, they could send me?

Just about to swap my V8R AWD items for SVR items.

Thanks
Andrew

Just start unscrewing bolts. It’s self-evident.
