Replacing sticky trim - Door

I'm replacing the sticky trim in my F-Type, and I'm down to the door trim (the piece that goes around the seat controls and handle).

Do I need to remove the door panel to release this piece, or can I simply pull it off?

~~door panels have to removed as these pieces pop off and are screwed in from the inside. They cannot be removed otherwise~~
