New to the forum, ran a search but got mixed feedback.

Will the ReRun InControl App only work for the 2018 F-Type? I'm in the 2017 SVR but in the last step of connecting GoPro to the ReRun app via the USB charger in mid-console I get an error warning on the screen that says it's not compatible.

Not sure if this is a hardware configuration, software update requirement, or something I'm not doing properly.
