Spectacular! It must be the blend of class and promise that I appreciate.

You do realize when I say I love the curves too, I'm referring to those gorgeous curves on that MT - tangentally in keeping with this thread - Jaguar E-Type? This in keeping ahead of Unhingd (just where I like to be).

I bet she knows how to handle a stick. (Did I really say that out loud?)

I was going for clean, classy, smart, sexy, and beautiful U. So much for that high-minded concept at this point.

Had to look again, and fully concentrate to notice there is an e-type in the photo.

It's funny how the picture flows and looks balanced with the car in the background, one fine body complimenting the other. But place the woman in the background and people would ask why she's photo-bombing the photo of the car as it would look terribly out of place. Why do our minds work that way?

Sorry for the deep pontifications this morning. I surmise the cold front bringing 57 degree temps to NE has given me temporary brain freeze.

You forgot the rain*

Woman? What woman? This is, after all, a Jaguar Forum - with the F-Type the proper successor to the E-Type - so why wouldn't I post a "shapely" picture of our antecedent? No apologies needed and a gentle reminder that man does not live by cars, even an F-Type, alone.

*And I'm quite thankful for it. 1) we need the rain badly and 2) my wife has been working my a$$ off the last two weekends with household chores and maybe with these lower temps, along with the beautiful rain, my wife will cut me a break???

Now who's sorry for pontificating?

At 7:45 especially, this has to be the best F-Type review hands down. THIS feeling is why the F-type is so awesome.

Since this thread has taken to "reviews" and/or marketing (and not just for the MT) and assuming not everyone here has seen my three favorite clips:

Needless to say - although I will nevertheless - that I've watched this clips [literally] countless number of times. if you don't believe me, ask my wife.

Then, if one wanted a bit more, there's this:

Best regards,
Jay

Yeah, great piece that one (Top Gear). Though I have to disagree with him about the ride. I think that the ride in the f type is actually very good, the problem is that the seats are very firm, but they stretch and feel better when you plant your foot and sink in. If you stuck the XE seats in the f type I think the ride would be sublime, but they wouldnt look as sweet.

I would agree with you Bruce however my guess is he mentioned the ride more (if not solely) for artistic license so that the piece could conclude on that lovely high - literally and figuratively - note. "Happily, however, the ride does get better the faster you go...don't drive slowly"...). As all Top Gear pieces go, stunningly filmed and thoroughly enjoyable.

Best regards,

Hey Rick, a thread morphing from a bad review to ones we like seems very natural, I've seen some doozy left turns on here lately!

Bout to get some popcorn and watch the Super Bowl ad as I've actually never seen it!....And I haven't missed a Super Bowl in 30 years. Hmmm.

Wow goosebumps.

Don't know how I ever missed this...

If someone doesn't grab the "VILLIAN" license plate in their state if available, you're insane!

Or I just thought of another great plate....
