Default Rubber mats

Just bought some floor mats for my 2017 from Jag. Slight problem. They don’t fit. Holes are way out. Is this because it’s a manual? They are the only ones made for the post 2014 F-Types LHD. They are also out in terms of size.

Could the change of hole location be a difference between RWD and AWD?

RHD & LHD have different shapes but difference in width of holes is pretty large.

Ah, but I was asking about the drive system - rear or all wheel drive.

well, the man in parts said there are only two sets available for F-Types. One LHD one RHD.
With the variations, as you said I wonder if the foot well spaces are all the same or not.

Is there a part number on them? Perhaps they’re for a different model Jag.

My recollection is that manual and auto are different. I have that style mat in my 2016 LHD 6MT. I'll see if I can find the part number of the set I have.

I looked into buying these same mats for my new F type R and keep in mind, there's no choices on what kind of transmission you get...like most of you didn't know that! I also read after I saw these mats the the holes for the floor pins don't match up to the newer F types. I'm thinking this is the problem the OP is finding. Hard to believe, these mats aren't cheap!

I'm amending my statement. My recollection *now* is that it's by VIN. I think I got the wrong ones when I first ordered and had to swap the for others.

Looking back through my invoices, I see that I got the T2R5507 mats and returned them, followed by ordering the T2R16569PVJ mats.

Update on the rubber mats for a MT 2017 Coupe. These fit nicely...

Just got my new 2021 F Type R and with all the miserable rain we've had in the Northeast (especially Pittsburgh!), I thought it was time to buy some really nice rubber mats. Although I really liked the mats shown above, someplace along the way I heard they didn't fit the newer F Types. But Amazon had these exact mats (part # T2R16569PVJ) and knowing making a return to Amazon is simple and easy, I just went and bought them. They fit perfectly. Holes line up exactly on floor hooks and the construction of these mats is first class. A little pricey at $131 plus tax, but the Jag is worth it!

Since I drive throughout the winter—when I’m here—these are what I bought and they’re outstanding. Perfect—as in absolutely precise—fit, function, and looks.

Indeed the website does say that but they are wrong for MT 2017 cars. I was given the ones your mentioned first with the holes in the wrong place.

That's exactly what I'm going to get too. Can confirm that the Floorliners are brilliant. Used them for 8 years in two XFs. For my last XF I first got the OEM Jag rubber mats but was pretty unimpressed, returned them and went back to the Floorliners. At least in the XF the OEM rubber mats are way to plain, small and just don't protect the sides of the footwells. I think there's also some kind of life time warranty on these Weathertech mats. After 4 years mine started getting a bit sticky and Weathertech sent me a complete new set free of charge.
