Rust Oleum asked to borrow my car, I said no
A friend of a friend works for Rust Oleum, and posted on Facebook that they were looking for a sporty car for a video shoot.
We were put in touch, and I said I'd be interested in details.
They said they needed the car for two days at a local body shop to shoot a product demo video of their removable primer.
The compensation was a $200 AmEx gift card (and I assume the car would be professionally washed.)
They sent along the release form which included some info:
Nope.
After reading that, I politely declined.
Neat opportunity, I'm honored, but it's hardly worth the hassle and risk created by a one-sided contract.
Thought I'd share.

This form serves to verify that you own this vehicle and hereby grant Rust-Oleum permission to use Rust-Oleum brand automotive coating products on the vehicle, photograph /video the vehicle during and after the coating process, and use and publish such photograph(s) / video in the manner described below. It also serves as a release of all claims for property damage or dissatisfaction in the work that may be performed on your vehicle.
